Commovi works because members trust each other. These guidelines apply to everyone, every ride and every message. Community admins can remove members who don't follow them.

Be reliable

  • Be at the pickup on time, and say in a message if you're running late.
  • Cancel as early as you can. A late cancellation or a no-show leaves someone without a ride, and it counts against your reliability.
  • Post only rides you will really drive, with the seats you really have.

What the reliability score is

It's a score Commovi works out from your recorded trips: trips completed, late cancellations and no-shows. Only your community's admins see it; other members don't, and an admin can tell you yours. It isn't a background check, and it says nothing about anyone beyond how their trips went in Commovi. If you think a no-show or late cancellation was recorded wrongly, ask your community's admin to review it, or write to privacy@commovi.com. A person looks at it; nothing is reversed automatically.

Stay safe

  • Licence, insurance and a roadworthy vehicle, every time. Obey the speed limit, never drive impaired, keep your phone away while driving, and make sure everyone wears a seatbelt.
  • You can refuse a ride, or end one, if it feels unsafe, whether you're the driver or a rider. Then report it in the app.

Be respectful

No harassment, discrimination, threats or unwanted advances, in the car or in messages. Respect the riders' and driver's comfort: music, temperature, and stops agreed beforehand.

No money

Rides are free. Don't ask for or accept payment, fuel money or gifts.

Keep others' details private

Use a member's phone number only to arrange your ride. Don't post another member's number, photo or messages publicly, or use them to harass anyone. Sharing them with Commovi, emergency services, the police, an insurer or a lawyer is fine.

Be honest

Use your real name. A photo is optional, but if you add one, it should show you. Leave fair, truthful reviews.

If something goes wrong

In an emergency, call 911. To report a member or a message, use Report in the app: only your community's admins see it, and they can remove members who break these guidelines. If the problem is with a community admin, write to support@commovi.com. Commovi is a coordination platform: the driver provides the ride (see the Terms of Service).
